The Who's Tommy Uniondale Theatre reviews
Fluffy was funny as always
Great to see The Who's Tommy in person and he did not disappoint. I put only three stars because of the circumstances. Show started late, there were two warm up acts. The first one was funny, funny, funny, the second, not so much. There was an awkward pitch for merchandise, and a 20 minute break. A long wait for the headliner. During the show, we had a drunk heckler in our row who was totally obnoxious. Never saw an usher do anything about it, made it very hard for those sitting near him to enjoy The Who's Tommy. Lots of laughs all the way through. To make matters worse, everyone in the row in front of us was smoking (also not stopped by the ushers). We are happy The Who's Tommy is healthier and performing again, and loved seeing him. Next time we will go to SAP where the parking is cheaper & crowd management happens. Or just watch the specials.
